Vladimir Jiranek, one of the most significant Czech cartoonists had a strong influence on the cartoon animation in the seventies and eighties. This picture was his debut as he co-directed it with the excellent animator Josef Hekrdla . Jiranek created a humourous story from the life of hens disturbed by insensitive and selfish man.
