A film based on Chodsko region fairy-tales by Simon Jindrich Baar mock human vanity and dullness. A clever fellow from Sumava mountains convinces a Bavarian farmer that he will send his ox to studies to Vienna so that he can sell the ox. The credulous simple Bavarian believes him but he goes to Vienna to see with his own eyes how his ox becomes a minister. a satiric story proper in any regime.
